VargaMesh mainnet passes block 10,000

The SHA-256d mainnet crossed its first five-digit block-height milestone with AuxPoW active and a 120-second target block time.

VargaMesh ProjectOfficial project release

The VargaMesh mainnet passed block height 10,000 on 2 October 2026, reaching the network’s first five-digit block-height milestone.

VargaMesh targets a 120-second block interval and uses SHA-256d Proof of Work, AuxPoW and ASERT difficulty adjustment. The initial block subsidy is 25 VMESH and the genesis output is unspendable.

Supply context at block 10,000

At exactly height 10,000, regular block subsidies account for 250,000 VMESH issued by mining. With a 100-block coinbase maturity, the matured portion at that exact height is approximately 247,500 VMESH, subject to the chain’s actual accepted block sequence. The protocol monetary cap is 52,560,000 VMESH.

That means the milestone still represented an early stage of the issuance schedule: 250,000 VMESH is about 0.48% of the nominal protocol cap.

How to verify current values

Current block height, difficulty, network hash-rate estimate and peer connections are exposed by the public node-backed API. Current issued and matured supply are exposed separately through the supply endpoint so reports do not need to infer today’s supply from an old screenshot.

The milestone is a network-history marker, not a statement about market value. Current chain values should be checked directly through the public API.
