Project / website distinction
VargaMesh (VMESH) is an open-source blockchain project and public network with community participation. The provider information above applies to vargamesh.com and services directly operated through this portal. Attila Varga, trading as Varga-Tech, operates the website and selected public infrastructure and contributes to software development and maintenance. This does not mean that Varga-Tech owns the public network or controls independent third-party nodes, miners, wallets or services. Regulatory roles such as issuer, offeror or person seeking admission to trading depend on the specific activity and applicable law and are not determined by this wording.
Privacy notice
1. Controller
The controller for personal-data processing connected with vargamesh.com is Attila Varga, trading as Varga-Tech, Leipziger Str. 3, 37085 Göttingen, Germany. Contact: vargatech@attila-varga.eu, +49 172 8400 913.
2. Website and API delivery
When the website or public API is accessed, technical data may necessarily be processed, including IP address, date/time, requested resource, HTTP status, transferred volume, referrer if supplied by the browser, and user agent. Processing serves delivery, stability, error analysis, abuse prevention and IT security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is secure and reliable operation of the services.
3. Mining / Stratum
When a miner connects to the public mining endpoint, technically required connection and mining data are processed, including source IP, VMESH address or Stratum username, worker label, miner-supplied user agent, and share/hashrate telemetry. These data are used to deliver the requested mining service, assign payouts, monitor operation, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. Public dashboards do not publish miner IP addresses. Depending on the processing, the legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
4. WebWallet / self-custody
The WebWallet creates or imports private keys locally in the browser and signs transactions locally. Private keys, seed/WIF material and wallet passwords are not transmitted to the server as a custody service. When balance, UTXO or broadcast functions are used, the public API necessarily receives the queried public address or signed transaction together with normal connection data. On-chain transactions are permanently public. Users are responsible for their own keys and backups.
5. VargaProof
Files are hashed locally in the browser with SHA-256. Verification or anchoring transmits the digest; the file itself is not part of the VPF1 protocol. For rate limiting, the requester IP may be processed as an HMAC/pseudonymous value. Confirmed VPF1 digests and transaction metadata are permanently public on the blockchain. A proof only establishes that the exact digest existed no later than the confirming block; it does not by itself prove authorship, ownership, truth of content or a particular legal effect.
6. Cookies, local storage and PWA
This deployment does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Browser storage can be used for expressly requested functions: language preference, privacy choice, PWA/offline cache, an explicitly saved watch-only mining/wallet address and – when the WebWallet is used – locally encrypted wallet data. Where storage is strictly necessary to provide an expressly requested digital service, it is used under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG without separate consent. Optional external GitHub live data is activated only after consent.
Optional GitHub live data
The Network page can load release and commit metadata from api.github.com. No such external connection is made by default. After consent, the browser connects directly to GitHub and may transmit the IP address, user agent and other technical connection data. Responses may be cached locally for up to 10 minutes. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through “Privacy settings”; related local GitHub caches are removed when disabled. See GitHub's own privacy statement for further details.
7. Retention
Personal operational and security data are retained only for as long as required for the relevant purpose, diagnostics, abuse prevention or statutory obligations. Server and mining logs are overwritten or deleted according to configured rotation and deletion rules. Short-lived rate-limit data are removed after the technical rate-limit period. Blockchain data cannot technically be deleted retroactively once confirmed and replicated across participating nodes of the distributed chain.
8. Recipients / processors
Technical hosting, network or IT providers may receive access to connection data to the extent required for operation and security. Personal data are not routinely sold or disclosed for advertising. If GitHub live data is enabled, GitHub is an independent external recipient; any third-country transfer is governed by GitHub's stated privacy mechanisms.
9. Legal bases
Depending on the function, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (delivery of an expressly requested function), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure, stable and abuse-resistant operation), or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent for optional external GitHub live data). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.
10. Data-subject rights
Where the legal requirements are met, data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn with future effect. Requests can be sent to the email address above.
11. Right to complain
You may lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. For the controller's place of establishment, the relevant authority is in particular Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany, email: poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de.
12. Automated decisions
This website does not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
WebWallet, mining and protocol notices
No custody
The WebWallet is designed as a self-custody tool. The operator does not promise recovery of lost private keys, passwords or backups.
Mining risk
Proof-of-work mining is probabilistic. Hashrate, shares, difficulty, displayed estimates or past block finds do not guarantee future blocks, revenue or any economic value of VMESH. Mining fees are operational pool policies, not VMESH consensus rules. Current public policy: VMESH SOLO charges 1% of the VMESH block reward; BTC + VMESH Merged SOLO charges 0% on the Bitcoin parent reward and 1% on the VMESH child reward; Home Mining / PPLNS currently charges 0%. The Merged-SOLO VMESH fee is encoded directly in the child coinbase and paid to vm1qsfsgj70pdv86nguvexzvsflmcknz4lrsj87wx9. For any specific payout, the actually confirmed coinbase transaction of the relevant block is authoritative.
Technical documentation / regulatory notice
The “Technical Paper” is a technical protocol description. It is not presented as a crypto-asset white paper, securities prospectus, investment recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell.
No regulatory self-classification
The legal notice identifies the operator of vargamesh.com and selected infrastructure, not an owner of the public VargaMesh network. The website does not claim that VMESH is “issuerless”, nor that MiCA or other financial-market rules are categorically inapplicable. Regulatory roles are assessed from the actual activity and applicable law.
Current portal scope
vargamesh.com itself currently provides no ICO, direct token sale, customer purchase/sale or exchange service and no custody of users’ private keys. Third-party exchanges or trading platforms may independently list or support VMESH under their own terms and regulatory responsibilities; that is not an exchange service operated by this portal. No price, liquidity, continued tradability, exchange availability or returns are promised.
MiCA context
MiCA distinguishes, among other roles, issuers, offerors and persons seeking admission to trading. Title II contains requirements that can apply to public offers or admission to trading of crypto-assets other than asset-referenced tokens or e-money tokens, subject to the Regulation’s scope and exemptions. Which role and obligations apply to VMESH-related activity depends on the actual facts. This website does not make a binding self-classification. See Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), in particular Articles 3–9. The Technical Paper does not replace any crypto-asset white paper that may be legally required for a specific offer or admission-to-trading activity.
Regulated activities
Any activity by the website operator that could constitute a public offer, seeking admission to trading, custody, brokerage, exchange or another regulated crypto-asset service must be assessed separately under the law applicable to that activity. Third-party providers act under their own responsibility and terms.
Community contribution rewards
The public contribution board may describe project tasks for which a VMESH treasury reward can be agreed. A listed task is not employment, equity, a security, an investment product or an automatic payment promise. Scope, acceptance criteria and any reward must be agreed before work starts. The contribution-program administrator reviews submissions and may reject work that does not meet the agreed criteria. Approved distributions should be documented on-chain with purpose and transaction reference.
Risk disclaimer
Blockchain, wallet, PWA, mining and API software may contain bugs or vulnerabilities and may experience forks, reorganisations, network outages or data loss. Users must verify addresses, transactions, backups and software versions independently. Content is technical information, not individual investment, tax or legal advice.
External links
External websites, including GitHub, are operated under the responsibility of their respective providers. Their privacy and terms apply when external links are opened.
