MeshProof sits beside consensus: it challenges public VargaMesh P2P nodes, verifies one-time operator control and records a public Mesh Score without changing Proof of Work or AuxPoW.

Real P2P checks

Each probe performs a VargaMesh mainnet handshake and randomized ping/pong liveness challenge against port 29666.

Ownership before rewards

A one-time claim must appear in the node's own P2P user agent before the endpoint can become reward-eligible.

Consensus untouched

MeshProof is off-consensus. Community rewards use existing Treasury-funded VMESH and do not alter supply, block subsidy or mining payouts.
